Growth Is the Dallas Board's Defining Problem

Dallas-Fort Worth adds people faster than almost anywhere in the country, and community associations absorb that growth directly: new phases closing, hundreds of owners who have never met a board member, and a volunteer board whose institutional knowledge turns over every couple of years. The communities that cope are the ones where the records outlast the people. HOAware is how a board in Frisco, Plano or Mansfield hands over cleanly instead of starting from a shoebox.

Features for Dallas HOAs

Tools designed for Dallas, TX communities.

Board Turnover Without Data Loss

When a board changes, access changes and the records stay. New members inherit the full history of decisions, notices and finances rather than a verbal briefing.

ARC Appeals Handled Properly

For Texas associations above the statutory lot threshold, a denied application carries specific notice content and a right to request a board hearing. The workflow is built in, not bolted on.

Hundreds of Closings a Year

Resale certificates, transfer records and new-owner onboarding move at the pace a growing Metroplex community actually closes homes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about HOA management in Dallas.

Texas Property Code section 209.00505 applies to associations with more than 40 lots and bars a current board member, their spouse or a household member from serving on the architectural review committee. A denial must be delivered in writing, explain the basis in reasonable detail, state any changes that would secure approval, and tell the owner they may request a board hearing within 30 days of the notice being mailed. The board may then affirm, modify or reverse. HOAware walks a committee through exactly that sequence and records each step.

Nothing lives in a departing member's email. Documents, ledgers, violation histories, vendor contracts and prior board decisions belong to the association, and access is granted and revoked by role. The handover becomes an afternoon rather than a reconstruction project.

Yes. One account can hold dozens of associations, each with its own board, budget, documents and owners, with staff permissions set per community. Managers covering Collin, Denton and Tarrant counties work across them without logging in and out.

It assembles the information a Texas resale certificate needs from records it already holds: current assessments and balances, pending violations, the budget, insurance details and governing documents. In a market closing as many homes as DFW, that turnaround is a real cost difference.
